Board Meeting Minutes
3 June 2010

Meeting began at 6:00 p.m.

OLD BUSINESS: Marilyn Dean read the 11 May 2010 Minutes. Joel Thomason made the proposal to approve as corrected, Bob Wallis seconded. Minutes approved as corrected.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Discussed 2010 Amended By-Laws. Need to meet with a notary and sign them, and order the books (discussed price and number of books to start). Also need to be recorded with the State and
- On-Going discussion of water and springs.
- Discussion on the Hideout and numbers of keys. Board will meet with the Hideout at the beginning of the next Board Meeting, 20 July 2010.
- Ray said he attended a seminar for small businesses and it was very informative. He said we can meet with the attorneys from their seminar free of charge and they can propose solutions to our Association problems on dues, and locked gates/roads on SCRA properties. At the seminar, they referenced State Bill (SB) 278-57-8A-211, dated June 2010, which specifically addresses court liens, sell of property, seizure of property for back dues; but must explicitly follow the law.
-- Chris makes a motion to meet with these attorneys at their convenience, or possibly invite them to meet with us at the beginning of a Board Meeting – Doug seconded the motion, all present agreed. Marilyn said she would like to meet with them also, and Ray said he will set up the time. Ray, Chris, Marilyn will attend as well as any Board members interested in attending.
- Ray asked if there was any other business, and as there was none, Ray made the motion to adjourn, Bob seconded, all agreed. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
