OLD BUSINESS: Mike Dean read the 9 September 2009 Minutes and they were approved as corrected.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Water Discussion: Improvement to Lower Spring. Debbi will contact Dave Marsh about the excavation work. Ray asked if we want to run 4 inch overflow pipe. Ray also said that Doug Stuart has used culvert pipe – available if we want to buy it.
- Ray will also contact another contractor that he knows for prices. Ray will arrange to take any contractors up to look at the site.
- Ray suggested that we should contact Dereck before we go on to his property so that he will have the option of being there while the work is being done.
- Chris Roby asked what we would do if our digging interferes with Derecks buried tank. Ray said that Wil Atkin said that we can’t disrupt Derek’s tanks.
- Chris Roby checked with the State and we cannot sell our water to Ruby Pipeline
Hideout Discussion: Bob Wallis handed out a proposed access agreement to be considered in order to regulate the access through SCRA to each individual Hideout property.
- Mike Dean read a motion from Nona Ellis suggesting that we limit hunting within SCRA. Mike will contact the DWR concerning any self-imposed hunting limits and get a written opinion from the DWR. Mike suggested that he respond to Mrs. Ellis to let her know that her motion was read and is being considered, but will not be on the November General Meeting agenda, because that meeting is designated as the election meeting.
- Mike Dean – Ron Hill chaining the gate open, Mike to follow up and have Lorie add message to web thanking Ron for his actions.
Debbi Spilker volunteered to provide 150 ballots for November General Meeting.
- Ray will contact Marilyn concerning the Presidents letter to be sent out with the November Meeting announcement.
- Deer Hunting/Security: To begin gate watch Friday evening: Ray Gibbons, Debbi Spilker, Joel Thomson, Mike Dean and Todd Wallis volunteered to man the gate.
Ray asked if there was any other business – and as there was none, Ray made the motion to adjourn, Chris seconded, all agreed. Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
