Pass out
suggested bylaw changes. Randy Rochell is POC so let him know of any
corrections or other ideas before January 2007 meeting. Best if you can
contact him by email.
·
Bylaws don’t have to go thru a lawyer – use common sense when making
recommendations for changes
·
Randy Rochell, Kathy Rochell and Derek Hunwick met one week before the
December board meeting to go over current bylaws. They met for about 3
hours.
·
Randy and Derek wanted to know why the last pages of the bylaws are not on
the web – they seem to have a problem seeing them – Bonnie checked and
everything is posted on the web page.
·
Items to review in the by-laws: define immediate family and “family members”
as used in the by-laws.

Ken, Fire Plan
update
·
Ken
stated that we will not send out the “Living with Fire” booklets until after
the holidays.
·
The
committee needs to fill out a few more things on the plan.
·
The
gas pipeline contact person says the pipeline is approximately 4-5’ deep
where the roads go over them – he will come up in the spring to verify the
depth of the pipeline where it crosses the roads.
OTHER BUSINESS
-
Jim Hicks gave
a quick report on keys – there are 670 keys out now. He distributed a
spreadsheet to members showing how many keys members currently have
recorded.
-
No other
property associations are interested in trading keys. Most have gone to
combination locks. Pricing for re-keying the current locks and getting new
blanks varies. He got a price of $8.00 each for blanks. Doug Stewart
said when he checked – keys were less - $7.00 each for 500 blanks. An
option to consider is to purchase a full set of keys/locks and maintain
the old ones – use regular locks and keys that are non-duplicate blanks.
-
Jim pointed out
that Morrelli’s have purchased 15 keys.
Read Derek’s
“memo of record” re conversation with Mike/Todd Olsen concerning motorized
vehicles trespassing on Cold Water Ranch property.
“Memo of Record 7
Dec. 2006
I talked to Todd
Olsen, Mike Olsen’s son, regarding area by Tom’s Tree that is becoming a
problem with motorized vehicles trespassing on Cold Water land. As
suggested by Randy Rochell and Monte Matue, we need to do something to limit
it to foot traffic only. Todd Olsen agreed and gave his permission for SCRA
to put rocks and or deadfall trees down along with “No Motorized Vehicles
Allowed” sign.”
