SCRA NEWS FROM THE PRESIDENT - SEPTEMBER 27, 2008

Ray's News:

Every three years we have to show substantial improvements to the water system in order to keep the water deeded to Scare Canyon Ranch Association according to the State of Utah Natural Resources Water Engineer.  A portion of the cost of the improvement will be reimbursed through the Community Fire Plan of 2008.  We have installed (2) 3000 gallon water storage tanks; one at the lower spring and the other at Indian spring.  Both tanks will have 2" fire fittings on them.  The main spring will have a fire fitting as well.  The lower spring was found to have a air lock, once the problem was resolved, normal water flow resumed and filled the water tank within twenty-four hours.  The Indian spring has 4 feet of water in the storage tank.  The lower spring will be complete as soon as we install a water meter, which has been ordered and we are waiting on delivery.

I have been in contact with my local Police Chief and he has informed me that if harassment continues towards any member of the board it will be necessary to take steps towards a criminal case.

There will be places set up for the exchange of keys.  Please watch the website for further information.

"Lost and Found"

Tom Whitaker found a pair of prescription sunglasses at the main spring.  If you have lost any, please contact Tom.
