SCRA NEWS FROM THE PRESIDENT - AUGUST 1, 2008

*  The archery season will begin August 16, 2008.  Hunting permits are available from board member Mike Dean.  Call Mike at (801) 391-2627 in order to receive them in time for the archery hunt.

A maximum of four (4) hunting permits will be issued to each 2008 member whose dues are paid.  To receive your hunting permits, you will need to provide the full name and license number of each hunter receiving a permit.   Permits are not transferable from one hunter to another hunter.  We encourage you to get your permits at this General Meeting as no permits will be issued after October 15.  Remember that SCRA decals must be visible on all vehicles at all times.

Please note “The Hideout” property will be posted with “NO TRESPASSING” signs.

If you cannot attend this meeting and need hunting permits, please send a SASE to:

            Mike Dean

            2280 South 800 West

            Perry UT  84302

Remember to include full name and license numbers of each hunter receiving a permit.

*  The keys are in and available through board members Bob Wallis and Doug Stuart.

Land owners will need their I.D. with them to pick up their keys.  Please turn in your old keys at this time.  (Spouses may stand in for “land owner”).  Each dues-paying land owner will receive the first key (free).  Dues-paying land owners may purchase for $15.00 each, up to three additional keys

A maximum of four keys will be issued per deeded parcel/parcels.  Land owners with multiple parcels will be issued a maximum of four keys.  Parcels of land with multiple names on the title will receive a maximum of four keys.

Incorporated parcels (as of January 2008) with multiple interests will be issued one key for each dues paying interest, an additional three keys will be available.  One individual may pick up keys for other interests with authorization letters.

Non-dues paying landowners will receive a maximum of one key for $30.00

*  We are still in need of dates, areas, equipment used, and time involved for fire prevention work that was accomplished during the clean-up or any other time that you chose to work toward the community fire plan.

*  I have the evaluations from the State Fire Representative, Kelly Allen.  If interested, the evaluations will be available to everyone wanting them.

*  Also, will you please let us know if you are interested in receiving information via your e-mail versus the US Mail.  We will have an e-mail sign-up sheet at our meeting.

Enjoy the great weather and see you on the 21st!
