Dear Scare Canyon Ranch Association,

Another winter is almost behind us.  It has been a pretty good one and it has also been good to see so many people enjoy Scare Canyon in the winter.  I have noticed several new snowmobilers enjoying their property along with the usual crowd.  If you know of any injuries or equipment damage that have been caused due to the pipeline work on our road throughout the winter, please contact one of the Board Members.

We had some pretty cold mornings in Scare Canyon this winter, the weather station recorded a low temperature of -23 degrees at the second gate in late January, even the coyotes were complaining!  One week later it was over 50 degrees.

As our March meeting is about to approach we are seeking the assistance from a firm to help us collect dues.  We had 81 non paid dues from 2010.  This throws the burden onto those who pay dues for the association expenses.  This is the responsibility of all landowners.  It is stated on the property deeds that everyone is bound to be members and pay dues and assessments.

Ruby pipeline will return this spring to finish up their project.  We will appreciate your cooperation in traversing the roads and be courteous.

As President of the Association, along with all board members, we are committed to the By Laws and to maintain the sovereignty and privacy of SCRA.

I want to thank the people of SCRA for your support.  A special thanks to the board members for their time and dedication.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the March meeting.

Sincerely,
