Summer Picnic / Clean Up Day is set for June 19, 2010 – If you would like to volunteer to have the picnic at your place, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, we need volunteers to work on the committee for prizes, menu, set up, clean up, etc. Please contact Marilyn Dean (801) 920-4929 with your name/phone number and how you would like to help.
SCRA Stickers: I can’t stress enough for you to get your 2010 SCRA stickers posted on your vehicles, 4x4s, ATVs, etc. Ruby Pipeline will have an employee manning the gates to ensure no one accesses SCRA that doesn’t belong there. They’ll be checking for both stickers and those who may try to access without keys. Ruby Pipeline vehicles will be clearly marked. We appreciate your cooperation with Ruby Pipeline, and remind you to please treat the Ruby Pipeline people with respect. They will be working hard throughout the summer to get the job done.
Ruby Pipeline: The Board has met with Ruby Pipeline and all indications are they will start working on the pipeline as soon as the snows melt and will work hard throughout the summer and fall – they will be working 6 days a week. Please take extra caution while traveling the Scare Canyon roads and trails as we will be sharing the roads with Ruby Pipeline’s heavy equipment.
Fires at SCRA: Reminder –If the gate is chained open, there is a fire in Scare Canyon. Please keep outside fires contained – be responsible
All in all it has been a wonderful winter, and although the snow wasn’t as deep as anticipated, snowmobiling was still great! Take care and we’ll see you all at the March General Meeting.
